Vinod Verma is Associate Professor in English at MAC, Delhi University since 2001. He ran an NGO (Vrindgaan) between 1992 and 2000 in Rajasthan for educational upliftment of under-privileged children besides working in an HRD sponsored UNESCO project to develop study material for neo-literates. He is also co-editor of DU textbooks Individual & Society and Living Literatures besides being a poet, theatre person, photographer, painter, short film-maker and research scholar on dalit writings. His both research and art works have published over several places. He is an advisor to Hindi magazine Maghar and to its special issue on Dalit Bachpan (Dalit Childhood).
